Clinical Neuropsychologist

Meredyth D. Kravitz, PsyD, is a clinical neuropsychologist. She has considerable experience conducting neuropsychological and academic assessments for gifted children as well as those with learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and ADHD. Dr. Kravitz specializes in remediating learning difficulties, including problems with executive functioning, writing, and mathematics. She provides empirically supported treatments that improve emotional functioning and bolster academic achievement, and she is a strong advocate for children and teens with special education needs.
Dr. Kravitz received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. She earned her masters and doctorate degrees in school/child clinical psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Dr. Kravitz completed her doctoral externships and internship at the Dalton School, Mount Sinai's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department, and Rusk Institute at NYU Medical Center. She then completed a two year postdoctoral program in pediatric neuropsychology at Lenox Hill's Center for Attention and Learning Disabilities. She has held staff positions at the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services' Manhattan Learning Center and at Child Mind Institute's Learning and Diagnostic Center.
